Therafirm, a Knit-Rite company, announced the opening of its new textile manufacturing facility in Hamlet, N.C., according to a company press release.
The Hamlet facility, which was relocated from Ellerbe, N.C., offers expanded capabilities and capacity for Therafirm, which specializes in compression hosiery.
“We are proud of our 90 years in the medical textile business and our continued commitment to producing American made textiles, along with being grateful for the opportunities we have to contribute to innovative solutions for our customers and good jobs for our people and the US economy,” Mark Smith, Knit-Rite’s president and chief executive officer, stated in the release.
