ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – At the New Jersey Chapter of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists Annual Meeting, Nicole V. Heroux and Holly Hendrix, master’s of prosthetics and orthotics students at the University of Hartford, discussed a study about the use of inertial sensors and gait analysis walkways in patients with hemiparetic cerebral palsy gait with ankle foot orthoses.
Patients aged 2 to 18 years will be included in the study, which will use 3-D motion capture as the gold standard and will be compared with the wearable sensors and gait analysis walkway data.
