LAS VEGAS — The Infinite Socket, developed by LIM Innovations, showed a statically significant ability to be less rigid than a conventional laminated socket, according to Garrett Hurley, CPO, chief innovations officer and co-founder of the company.
Speaking during the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association 2017 World Congress, Hurley said his research compared two standard laminated sockets with one Infinite Socket and analyzed outcomes of 275 patients who took part of an independent study.
“We’re just showing that our product has value in terms of getting better outcomes,” Hurley said. “And we’re showing that our socket is significantly different than conventional laminated sockets.”
