LAS VEGAS — It is important that women in the O&P industry develop long-term relationships early in their careers, according to a video perspective from Rebecca Hast here at the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association World Congress
Hast, senior vice president and chief compliance officer for Hanger, was one of three speakers at the O&P Women’s Leadership Forum Brunch, which was sponsored by Hanger and Thuasne. The speakers focused on ideas and opportunities for women to help them advance in their careers and achieve their potential.
Hast spoke about five things she has learned in her career. She said respect and communication are important along with the development of long-term relationships early in women’s careers and as they grow in the profession.
