Ekso Bionics Holdings Inc. has appointed Christian Babini as its new vice president of sales in the Americas, according to a press release.
“We are thrilled to welcome Christian to the Ekso team,” Thomas Looby, president and chief executive officer of Ekso, said in the release. “He has built an impressive track record of delivering outstanding results throughout his career, and we are confident that his diverse and extensive experience will be an invaluable asset as we ramp up our sales infrastructure and work toward achieving our vision of improving the lives of patients while creating value for our shareholders.”
Babini has more than 20 years of experience in medical device sales, Ekso reported. He previously served as global vice president of sales and market development for Medtech Surgical from 2014 until the company was acquired by Zimmer Biomet in 2014. Prior to that, he was the regional vice president of sales for Intuitive Surgical Inc., where he served for 10 years.
“I am excited to join Ekso Bionics, a leader in the field of robotic technology, and lead the Americas sales team,” Babini said in the release. “Ekso’s innovative exoskeleton portfolio provides significant value to our customers, and I look forward to helping accelerate our sales effort and expand our market presence.
