Today marks the beginning of the 37th National Veterans Wheelchair Games, which are slated to run through July 22 in Cincinnati.
The games, organized through a partnership between Paralyzed Veterans of America and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), are open to veterans eligible for care in the VA with a spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, amputation or other neurological injury that uses a wheelchair for sport.

According to the VA, coverage of wheelchair basketball is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. EST. Wednesday will feature quad rugby from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Slalom and softball on are scheduled on Thursday and track and weightlifting competitions will run on Friday. Saturday, the final day of competition, will include Super G, quad rugby and the conclusion of wheelchair basketball.
