Following running and mobility clinics held earlier this year in Portland, Philadelphia and Dallas, Össur has recently announced four additional clinics for 2017.
According to a press release, the four additional clinics are presented by the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) and scheduled for:
- July 22, in Minneapolis;
- Aug. 5, in Louisville, Ky., during the Amputee Coalition National Conference and will be open only to registered attendees;
- Sept. 23, in Birmingham, Ala.; and
- Oct. 21, in San Diego, during the CAF San Diego Tri Challenge.
Every year, hundreds of people participate in Össur Running and Mobility Clinics across the United States, the release noted. The free clinics are intended to help amputees achieve their mobility goals.
“Össur has partnered with CAF for more than 20 years,” according to the release. “Since 1971, the global company has been dedicated to developing technologies that help people enjoy ‘Life Without Limitations.’”
According to the release, CAF has raised more than $80 million and has provided grants for more than 18,000 challenged athletes around the world since 1994.
