The Amputee Coalition will host Hill Day, a legislative education event, in April to coincide with Limb Loss Awareness Month, according to a press release. The event is scheduled for April 25-26, with visits to Capitol Hill to take place on April 26.
“We would like to have people join us from all across the country to help educate our legislators about the needs of the limb loss and limb difference community,” the release noted. “If you are not able to attend Hill Day in person, we will be sharing other ways to make your voice heard, too.”
The Amputee Coalition encouraged those interested to share the invitation with others and to “make your voice heard with legislative policymakers.”
