von Groote also will serve as project director for the veterinary congresses organized by the Leipzig Exhibition Center, based in Leipzig, Germany. According to a press release from Leipziger Messe, von Groote has worked for the company since 2005, first as project manager and then as project director beginning in 2011. She has spent the past 5 years as project director of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics World Congress.
“I am looking forward to taking on this demanding job and continuing with the long-term development of OTWorld at its Leipzig venue,” von Groote said in the release. “OTWorld is an ideal complement to my previous projects in the medical field.”
Beyer, who has led OTWorld for the past 18 years, will oversee therapie Leipzig, med.Logistica and MEDCARE. He also will be responsible for developing new events and coverage.
