UNYQ Scoliosis Brace wins CES Innovation Award

UNYQ recently announced its UNYQ Scoliosis Brace received the CES Innovation Award, which recognizes outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products.

According to a company press release, the brace is 3-D printed and utilizes biosensors. The brace was developed in partnership with 3D Systems.

“Receiving the CES Innovation Award is a true honor for us,” Eythor Bender, chief executive officer of UNYQ, said in the release. “It is an important recognition of the work we are doing to take the power of consumer technology and apply it to the improved treatment of medical conditions.”

“We are very excited to have won this award for this life-changing brace,” Cathy Lewis, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of 3D Systems, said. “It is an incredibly powerful example of how our 3-D technology can transform the treatment of a serious medical condition.”
