The Orthotic & Prosthetic Activities Foundation recently announced it has received a $1,500 grant from the Barr Amputee Assistance Fund, a donor-advised fund generated by the dissolution of the Barr Foundation, for its First Clinics projects.
According to a press release, the Orthotic & Prosthetic Activities Foundation (OPAF) will use the grant to fund its spring First Volley Adaptive Tennis and First Climb clinics in conjunction with Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.
This will be the 11th consecutive year that OPAF has hosted clinics with Shriners Philadelphia. OPAF will announce the official date in the coming weeks, the press release noted.
