WillowWood recently announced the promotion of two employees within its executive and marketing teams, according to a recent press release.
Linda Wise will take on the role of chief marketing officer. As such, she will lead the company’s marketing team, join the company’s executive leadership team and continue to lead all domestic and international sales within the Americas, the release noted.
Charlie Huizinga has been promoted to sales and marketing manager. In his new role, he will assume responsibility of international sales — concentrating on the European market — while managing WillowWood’s product specialist team for domestic customer education and product awareness.
Wise joined WillowWood in 2009 as marketing manager and became marketing director in 2014. At the company, Wise has strengthened customer education efforts by establishing and recruiting product specialists; has identified and developed new online and print tools for customer use; and helped implement and roll-out the company’s rebranding in 2011, according to the release. Most recently, she established new distributor relationships in Latin America and led product registration efforts in Brazil and Colombia.
Since joining WillowWood in 2012 as product specialist, Huizinga has built relationships with the company’s clinical customers and international distributors, the release noted. In 2013, he was promoted to international sales and key account manager. Prior to WillowWood, Huizinga worked for 4 years at a leading upper extremity prosthesis manufacturer.
