Ekso Bionics Holdings Inc. recently announced the establishment of a new regional headquarters in Freiburg, Germany.
According to a press release, the new headquarters is part of an expansion of the company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) business.
“Establishing this Germany-based subsidiary will allow us to enhance our customer service with training, education, and field service support by being in closer proximity to our valued customers,” Ruediger Hausherr, president of EMEA for Ekso Bionics, stated in the company press release. “The Freiburg headquarters will also position Ekso to build strategic partnerships in the area.”
The new headquarters is meant to facilitate regional growth plans and to establish an organization dedicated to sales and customer service to liaise with regional rehabilitation centers.
“We are excited to further expand our European business to meet a rise in demand for our advanced technology,” Thomas Looby, president and chief commercial officer of Ekso Bionics, stated in the release. “I am pleased to see how Ruediger and the EMEA team have strengthened our business since he joined us in early October. Our presence in western Europe is a strategic part of our market development and demonstrates our commitment to operational excellence.”
