The Board of Certification/Accreditation recently announced Claudia Zacharias, MBA, CAE, has been elected board chair for the Institute for Credentialing Excellence.
Zacharias is the president and chief executive officer of the Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC). According to a BOC press release, Zacharias was announced as chair at the annual meeting of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) in Portland, Ore. Zacharias began her second 3-year term on the board this year. She served as secretary-treasurer for the past 2 years.

“I am pleased and proud to take on the role of ICE board chair,” Zacharias stated in the release. “I have enjoyed my experience on the ICE Board of Directors and I look forward to what ICE will accomplish in 2016.”
