The Nashville-based BCP Group recently announced it has partnered with Beacon Prosthetics and Orthotics, based in Raleigh, N.C.
BCP Group has acquired ownership of Beacon and will provide services and resources to support Beacon’s continued growth, but the practice will retain its name, according to a press release. In addition, Eddie White, CP, Beacon’s founder, has become an equity partner in BCP Group and a senior clinical partner in BCP Group’s North Carolina market. White will serve as Beacon’s clinical director.
“Since the beginning of this relationship, it has become clearer to me every day just how committed BCP Group is to making excellent patient care the primary focus of its business model. I do not think that we could have found a more like-minded partner to help us achieve our growth goals,” White said in the release.
“Eddie White and the entire Beacon team share our commitment to providing high-quality patient care, and I am very proud to have Beacon P&O become part of the BCP Group partnership,” Matt Bulow, CP, BCP Group’s founding partner and CEO, said in the release.
The partnership is part of Beacon’s growth plans for North Carolina, according to Grant Rutledge, president of BCP Group.
BCP Group previously announced a partnership with Denver-based Creative Technology in May 2015 and expects to announce additional transactions later this year, according to the release.
