Myomo has announced a partnership with YoungStroke, a nonprofit advocacy organization formed to address the needs of young adult stroke survivors and their caregivers.
According to a recent press release, Myomo will help expand awareness of YoungStroke’s education and advocacy programs through conference presentations, social media marketing and research collaboration. Together, the organizations will work to increase available resources to the young adult stroke community.
“Through continuing medical education and community-based programs, YoungStroke raises awareness of the increasing prevalence of stroke among young adults and its devastating impact upon community life. YoungStroke also advocates collaboratively with organizations sharing similar goals and objectives,” Amy Edmunds, YoungStroke founder and CEO, said in the press release.
“Myomo is pleased to partner with YoungStroke in an effort to better support young stroke survivors, many of whom are veterans and active military, along with their caregivers,” Paul R. Gudonis, Myomo CEO, said in the release.
