The American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association has announced the 2015 contenders for the Sam E. Hamontree, CP(E) Business Education Award.
The Hamontree Award recognizes the best business paper submitted for presentation at the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) National Assembly. This year’s contenders, who will present their papers at the National Assembly on Oct. 9 in San Antonio, are Christina Throndson, Thomas McGovern and Tyler Ritchey, MBC, CP, ACM.
Throndson, web marketing manager for VGM Forbin, will present, “Make Your Online O&P Presence Unforgettable … in Every Way.”
McGovern, managing partner of Clinical Education Concepts, will present, “Control Your Marketing Message by Controlling the Medium.”
Ritchey, area clinic manager for the Arizona branch of Hanger Clinic, will present, “Managers of Health Care are Not Trained to Succeed in Business.”
AOPA National Assembly attendees will be invited to cast votes for the award winner, who will be announced during the general session on Oct. 11.
