The Amputee Coalition has announced Riley Quinn, of San Carlos, Calif., as the 2015 Christina Skoski, MD, Scholarship winner.

The $1,000 award is given each year to a full-time undergraduate student who has a congenital limb difference or an amputation, according to a press release.
Quinn, born without his left hand, played football, basketball and baseball in high school. He now plans to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to major in management science with a math minor at the Sloan School of Management.
“We are so pleased to announce Riley as our Skoski Scholarship recipient,” Susan Stout, president and CEO of the Amputee Coalition, said in the release. “His accomplishments, his vision and his aspirations for the future embody what the scholarship is all about.”
