More than 170 people were in attendance for OPIE Software’s inaugural OPIE Con, a conference and training event for Futura and OPIE users. The event theme was “Come together. Get energized. Push your practice to new heights.”
OPIE Con offered educational tracks with hands-on training for various roles, including front office, billing, practice management, compliance and clinical. The event also hosted keynote speakers from the business and health care industries, as well as the field of O&P.
“[OPIE Con] is a new approach at education with a focus on collaboration between your team to push your practice and the profession to a new level,” Paul Prusakowski, CPO, FAAOP, CEO of OPIE Software, said in a press release. “By learning together and collaborating with other practices in the educational process, you will leave OPIE Con with an actionable plan for making instrumental changes within your organization that will help position you for continued success in this changing health care world.”
OPIE Software plans to hold OPIE Con semiannually. The fall OPIE Con event is set for Nov. 18-20 in San Diego, according to the release.
