Ekso Bionics Holdings has elected Amy Wendell, MBE to its board of directors.
Wendell was formerly senior vice president of Strategy and Business Development for Covidien. She worked for 29 years at Covidien and has held many leadership positions within the company, where she led all of the business development initiatives and Covidien’s strategic planning and portfolio management.
“I have a long time interest in medical device technology and, perhaps even more, the process of guiding innovative companies to make a positive impact in people’s lives, hit business milestones and expand into new markets,” Wendell stated in a press release. “I am excited by what Ekso Bionics has begun to accomplish and I am honored to be joining their board.”
