NEW ORLEANS —An integrated team approach led by Fred Lerche, PT, CPed, administrative director of the Outpatient Rehab Services and Orthotics and Prosthetics Program at Meyer Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital, combines health care workers in O&P with those from physical therapy and related services are all housed in the same location to provide easy access for patients. Lerch shared the benefits of the program at the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists Annual Meeting.
