Becker Orthopedic has added four new members to the sales, marketing and product development teams. The company also announced it will be consolidating its Albany, Ore. branch.
Jopi Siirtola, PT, was named international regional sales manager for Europe and Asia Pacific. Beatrice Janka, MPO, CO, will serve as product development engineer and clinician for the patient care division. Karen King was named art director and Greg Wahl will join the company as a sales analyst.
Becker Oregon will consolidate its operations with the company’s main central fabrication headquarters in Troy, Mich. The goal is to increase efficiency, expand capacity and provide improved customer and technical support from a single, centrally located facility, according to a company press release. The consolidation will be completed during the first quarter of 2015 without interruption or change in service.
“Consolidating the Becker Oregon product line with our manufacturing and central fabrications services in Michigan will allow us to more efficiently serve all of our central fabrication customers throughout the United States,” Rudolf B. Becker, president of the company, said in the release.
