ReWalk Robotics has named Kevin W. Hershberger as its new chief financial officer, and Ami Kraft as general manager of its Israel organization.
Hershberger most recently served as vice president, controller and chief accounting officer at NxStage Medical Inc. He also served as controller and director of finance, Urology and Gynecology at Boston Scientific Corporation.
Hershberger served as an accountant at the USG Corporation, a company commander in the U.S. Army Reserves and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from West Virginia University.
“We are pleased to welcome Kevin – an experienced financial professional, widely recognized in the medical device and manufacturing field – to the company,” Larry Jasinski, chief executive officer at ReWalk Robotics, stated in a company press release. “His more than 25 years of experience and leadership will be critical as we continue growth initiatives and bring revolutionary technology to a broader group of individuals.”
Kraft will transition from his current role as chief financial officer at ReWalk. In his new role, he will provide support, advice and leadership to the company.
“It goes without saying that many of our recent accomplishments are due to the tireless efforts of Ami Kraft, who has been a valued business adviser and chief financial officer,” Jasinski said. “A significant part of our success is directly attributed to his personal commitment and leadership.”
The promotions will become effective Jan. 1, 2015, according to the release.
