Artec Group announced the closing of a distribution agreement with Ottobock to resell Artec’s Eva and Spider 3-D scanners for prosthesis manufacturing.
According to the company press release, the Artec Eva scanner digitizes objects quickly in high resolution and vivid colors, and requires no markers and no calibration. The Artec Spider is a new 3-D scanner specifically designed for CAD users and reverse engineering, product design, quality control and mass production.
