Ottobock has announced the realignment of its technical orthopedics sales regions and the promotion of Brian Long as its Midwest regional sales manager. The realignment from three to four regions took effect July 1, and was implemented as a result of company expansion.

Long, who has been with Ottobock since January 2012, will head the new Midwest region, which includes Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas.
“In addition to his success with Ottobock managing and growing the largest territory, Brian’s experience includes developing strong relationships with physicians and corporate executives throughout the medical device industry,” Walter Governor, Ottobock national director of sales for technical orthopedics, stated in a company press release. “His proven track record and excellent organizational and communication skills recommends him for his new position as regional sales manager, and we look forward to his contributions.”
