The Orthotic & Prosthetic Activities Foundation has begun its annual search for nominees to serve on its board of directors.
Board members serve a 3-year term and must attend one of two annual board meetings held in conjunction the American Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists Annual Meeting and the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association National Assembly. Members are expected to take an active role in the fundraising efforts of OPAF and the First Clinics.
Candidates should have an appropriate background, knowledge of fundraising and a history of nonprofit committee or volunteer work is preferred.
Nomination materials are due by Aug. 1, and terms will begin Dec. 1. OPAF is looking to fill at least two and up to four seats on its board of directors.
