PSL Fabrication, Fulton, Mo., has received central fabrication accreditation from the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics Inc. (ABC), according to a recent press release.
Central fabrication is ABC’s newest accreditation program, and is based on thorough review of the physical environment and organization function of a prosthetic fabrication facility.
“Central fabrication accreditation is a rigorous process, but one that we welcome as a continual quality improvement mechanism,” Mike Verhoff, co-owner of PSL Fabrication, stated in the release. “Earning ABC accreditation is another measure of our excellence as a premier provider of lower limb prosthetic fabrication, and reflects our commitment to the profession.”
PSL Fabrication fabricates custom lower limb prostheses and provides CAD/CAM services including shape capture, modification, carving and archiving.
