Ottobock announced the promotion of John Spillar, MBA, to the position of market manager for lower extremity prosthetics.
Spillar was previously the technical orthopedics territory sales representative for South Texas since his hire in December 2010. Prior to joining Ottobock, he built a successful sales career in the health care and orthopedic industries.

“John’s MBA and marketing education is a good complement to his years in the field of sales,” Scott Schneider, chief marketing officer for Ottobock, stated in a press release. “We are happy to bring that background and his customer focus to our marketing team and look forward to his leadership in his new position.”
