Össur has announced the launch of its Rebound Cartilage, the first orthosis designed to provide unicompartmental load reduction and range of movement restriction after an articular cartilage defect procedure.
The orthosis is designed to offload repaired cartilage while helping patients transition through partial to full weight bearing rehabilitation.
The Rebound Cartilage may also be beneficial for other unicompartmental knee conditions that require offloading, movement restriction and pain relief, such as meniscal repair, avascular necrosis and condylar bone marrow lesions, according to a press release.
