The Amputee Coalition has appointed Jack Richmond and David S. Sanders to its board of directors for 3-year terms.
“Each one provides diverse perspectives and experiences…and their work in philanthropy will enhance our efforts to serve the community,” Sue Stout, interim president and chief executive officer for the Amputee Coalition, stated in a press release.
A transtibital amputee, Richmond has been involved with the Amputee Coalition since 1992, and currently chairs its education and conference committee. He also serves as the director of sales at Fillauer Inc.

Richmond has served as president of United Amputee Services, the Orthotic and Prosthetic Activities Foundation and the Barr Foundation, where he continues to serve as a board member.
“I am excited to join the Amputee Coalition board of directors,” he stated in the release. “It is an honor to work with such a dedicated group of people who are driven…to improve the quality of life for amputees.”
Sanders is a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP law firm, co-chair of the firm’s transactional and securities practice and co-chair of the trade secret/non-compete specialty practice, where he counsels medical device and health care clients on formation, operation, growth and employment.

Stout said the Amputee Coalition is privileged to welcome Richmond and Sanders as new board members.
