More than 275 attendees enjoyed a day of adaptive recreation sports and activities at the Boy Scout Base Camp facility at Ft. Snelling, Minneapolis, Minn., for the TODD Field Day, sponsored by Ottobock to honor the memory of Todd Anderson, CP. The event’s name stands for “Taking Opportunities, Defying Disabilities.”
Ottobock, along with the Courage Kenny Rehab Center and the Orthotic & Prosthetic Activities Foundation and The First Clinics, brought together members of the physically challenged community, both wheelchair and ambulatory participants, as well as members of the rehabilitation team to try rock climbing, a ropes course, biking and more.
Plans are being made for 2014 to celebrate Todd Anderson and his life’s work with the Todd Anderson Memorial Softball Field in the Twin Cities.
