The American Hospital of Dubai and Storch & Beller signed an agreement to create the region’s first specialist center for crafted custom orthoses.
“This agreement will add world class orthotics and complete the comprehensive services offered by the Hospital’s newly expanded orthopedics and total joint replacement center for the benefit of hospital patients as well as patients of our community physicians in the United Arab Emirates,” Thomas Murray, chief executive officer of the American Hospital Dubai, stated in a press release. “Advanced pediatric orthopedic services are highly specialized and demand a team approach. Storch & Beller will become an integral part of the pediatric orthopedic team and service at the hospital and are bringing unique skills and knowledge of orthotics, including a highly skilled master orthotic technician — already licensed and on-site — along with custom orthoses and braces. The orthotics service will be unrivaled in the United Arab Emirates and surrounding region and the benefits to the patient community will be immediate.”
