The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will host another Open Door Forum on July 31 to discuss its electronic clinical template for lower limb prostheses, which is designed to assist physicians with claims documentation.
The Open Door Forum is part of a series of forums that will allow physicians, prosthetists and other interested parties to give their feedback on the suggested template. At the conclusion of the series, CMS plans to forward the feedback to the electronic determination of coverage workgroup, which is developing the standards necessary for successful use of the template.
