The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics Inc. (ABC) announced that it has hired Patrick Cannon as the new director of facility accreditation, according to a news release.

Cannon previously served as a program evaluator for the Delaware Developmental Disabilities Division, where he was responsible for statewide program evaluation and monitoring of residential and day habilitation programs to ensure adherence to health and human services standards and policy, Medicare/Medicaid compliance and accreditation and intermediate care facility standards and policies for developmentally disabled clients.
“I am looking forward to helping ABC accredited facilities continue to excel at providing the highest level of patient care,” Cannon stated in the release. “As director of facility accreditation, I look forward to continuing the almost 65 year legacy of providing the highest level of quality standards in the profession.”
