On Nov. 29, a public service announcement will air during ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy on behalf of the Amputee Coalition to show support for the organization’s mission to help amputees and their families.
The Amputee Coalition and ABC have been working together to provide insight into limb loss and the journey to recovery and readjustment, according to a press release. The show will portray a main character’s transition to becoming a transfemoral amputee.
