Gerald Stark, MSEM, CPO/L, FAAOP, has joined Ottobock as senior upper limb specialist and clinical leader of the company’s upper limb professional and clinical services team. In his new role, Stark is responsible for strategizing with marketing and sales areas to develop education and training and to provide support to Ottobock customers.

Stark was previously vice president of education and product development at The Fillauer Companies, where, in addition to initiating product concepts, development, and prototyping, he coordinated engineering design activities, performed off-site fitting, provided educational and legal consulting services, and contributed scientific papers and lectures at national and international meetings.
He received his prosthetic certificate from Northwestern University and holds a Master’s degree in engineering management from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. A Fellow of the American Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists, Stark also serves as a contributing faculty member for Northwestern University and as a director for the National Commission on O & P Education and International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics-US.
