American Orthopedics Manufacturing Corporation has appointed Teresa Hamm to director of marketing and education.

In her new role, Hamm will oversee establishing and implementing educational programs for the O&P industry in the US. She will also spearhead the promotion of the new patented dynamic suspension AFO, the Revolution, and work with the universities and facilities conducting case studies to bring the information to medical professionals, according to a press release.
Hamm began her career in the health care industry as a sales manager and mastectomy fitter for a medical equipment company in Tennessee. She is an active member of the American Board of Certification (ABC) as a certified orthotics and mastectomy fitter and has volunteered for ABC committees.
Hamm’s development of the new education department for American Orthopedics enhances the company’s custom manufactured bracing and custom shoe business.
