OPGA announced a new partnership with the vanHalem Group LLC, an audit and consulting firm that helps providers navigate complex issues related to audits, appeals and compliance.
According to a press release, the partnership allows members access to the industry leader in representing independent O&P providers in audit appeal cases, compliance and other issues relating to fraud and abuse.
“Never before has the orthotic and prosthetic industry been under such intense scrutiny. It is so important for practitioners to be both proactive and reactive in the area of audits, appeals and compliance,” Wayne H. vanHalem, president of the vanHalem Group, stated in the release. “This partnership will afford OPGA members the tools and resources they need to success and thrive in this strict regulatory environment.”
