The Institute for Credentialing Excellence announced the election of Claudia Zacharias, MBA,CAE, president and CEO of the Board of Certification/Accreditation, International, to its board of directors.

Zacharias has been with the Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC) since 2009 and has more than 20 years of non-profit management experience, including 4 years at the American Nurses Credentialing Center, according to a press release.
She has been committed to maintaining BOC’s record of 100% National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) accreditation upon taking on the CEO role at BOC.
“I’m so honored to be elected by my peers to serve on the ICE board,” Zacharias said. “As both a credentialing professional and a consumer, I believe in ICE’s important work and look forward to contributing to their continued success.”
