Fast Company magazine named Össur among the “Most Innovative Companies in the World” in its annual rankings. The company was ranked 7th among all global health care companies.
Included in Össur’s 750 registered patents and designs are the Flex-Foot Cheetah carbon fiber running prosthesis and the first bionic prosthetic device for amputees.
“We appreciate Fast Company’s recognition of Össur’s contributions to mobility-enabling technologies to date and remain committed to continually innovating on behalf of people worldwide,” Jon Sigurdsson, Össur’s president and chief executive officer, stated in a press release.
