The Orthotic and Prosthetic Activities Foundation and the First Clinics announced that the American Board for Certification in Prosthetics, Orthotics and Pedorthics is now a silver level sponsor for 2012.
“OPAF and the First Clinics appreciate the continued and ongoing support of ABC in reaching those served by the O&P community with quality adaptive recreation opportunities,” Robin Burton, OPAF executive director, stated in a press release.

The silver level sponsorship marks a 100% increase in ABC’s donation level from 2011. ABC is one of the three founding partners of OPAF, along with the American Orthotics and Prosthetic Association and the American Academy of Orofacial Pain.
“ABC is pleased to provide support to OPAF as we share the same goals of enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and to help raise public awareness for the orthotic and prosthetic profession,” Catherine Carter, the executive director of ABC, stated in the release.
