The Board of Certification/Accreditation International (BOC) recently announced new features to its website.
“We are continually looking for ways to make the certification process more convenient for our candidates and practitioners,” Jan Paul Miller, MA, MEd, BOC’s director of certification, stated in a press release. “With these updates, BOC puts the power at their fingertips.”
As of Nov. 1, candidates taking BOC certification tests receive instant results for multiple-choice examinations. The BOC also started administering the exams year-round and at more convenient times — including Mondays through Fridays and some Saturdays. Previously, candidates could take multiple-choice exams only during four-exam windows throughout the year.
In addition, my.bocusa.org offers options for practitioners to verify and edit their contact information; view their current CEU records; view their list of current certification categories and apply for new certifications; print a duplicate copy of their certificates; check renewal payment due dates and pay fees on the secured site; and access BOC’s directory of practitioners.
“Our hope is that candidates and practitioners will have more time to do what they do best — provide excellent patient care,” Claudia Zacharias, MBA, CAE, president and chief executive officer, stated in the release.
