The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics Inc. (ABC) is pleased to provide another resource tool to its accredited facilities. The recently published ABC Facility Accreditation Standards Compliance Guide is the latest tool in support of ABC’s ongoing commitment to provide useful, easy-to-comprehend resources to guide facility owners through the accreditation process.
The compliance guide is an exclusive resource available only to current ABC accredited facilities and those who have applied for accreditation. The publication details each of the 141 facility accreditation standards against which the facility will be measured and offers numerous tips and suggestions for compliance. The guidance offered in each of the tips further clarifies the expectations of the standard, offers examples of compliance, and in many cases refers the facility owner to additional resources.
