New Director of Sales Joins OPGA

A new director of sales has joined the team of the
Orthotic & Prosthetic Group of America (OPGA). Todd Eagen, a native Iowan,
joined OPGA after successful careers in sales and coaching.

Eagen served as assistant football coach and recruiting
coordinator for the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) Panthers for 13 years.
After working with the Division 1-ranked Panthers, Eagen worked as a senior
pharmaceutical sales representative for GlaxoSmithKline for 8 years, during
which he built ties with family practice physician offices, specialty physician
offices, community health organizations and their respective ancillary
personnel.

“Both in the pharmaceutical industry and in
coaching, I took great satisfaction in helping others accomplish quality
outcomes,” Eagen said in a press release. “As a member service
organization, OPGA’s goal, and my goal, is to partner with our members to
improve productivity, efficiency and profits.”

Eagen earned a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies
from UNI. He also completed a master’s degree in physical education with
an emphasis in anatomy and kinesiology at UNI.

Eagen will bring a renewed focus to building
partnerships with OPGA members, according to Dennis Clark, OPGA president.

“Todd brings a wealth of knowledge in health care
and sales and a history of commitment and success in everything he does,”
Clark stated in a press release. “He will help OPGA expand to meet the
needs of our members and the people they serve.”
