Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistance Fund (OPAF) and the First Clinics, has begun its annual search for individuals who would like to serve the O&P community through service on the board of directors.
Board members may serve either a 1-, 2- or 3-year term and are required to attend at least one of the two in-person board meetings held in conjunction with the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association and the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists national meetings. Additionally, directors are expected to be vitally involved in the ongoing work of OPAF and First Clinics with adaptive sports and recreation and to take an active role with our fundraising efforts.
