Introduced June 16 by Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-ME) and Rep. Mike Ross (D-AR), the Breast Cancer Patient Equity Act of 2011 would require Medicare coverage and reimbursement for custom breast forms, according to a press release.
The American Association of Breast Cancer Professionals is asking all supporters to contact congressional leaders and ask them to co-sponsor and support these important bills.
