Otto Bock HealthCare announced the new hire of Irina Powers as a territory sales representative for Otto Bock’s technical orthopedics business. In her new position, she is responsible for the territory of Indiana and Kentucky.
Powers joined Otto Bock with several years of health care industry experience, including at Pfizer Inc. as a pharmaceutical sales representative in the neurology division. Most recently she was a clinical sales consultant for Phadia Diagnostics in the area of in vitro allergy testing, where she successfully generated and managed demand for complete blood testing systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy and autoimmune disease.
“Irina’s ability to analyze market and territory dynamics has meant consistent success in exceeding expectations and goals in her previous health care industry positions,” Walter Governor, national director of sales for Otto Bock’s technical orthopedics business, stated in a press release. “She also brings to Otto Bock a history of high satisfaction in her customer relationships due to strong interpersonal and communication skills, and we look forward to her contributions.”
Powers is a graduate of Butler University with a bachelor’s degree in biology.
