The Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) public meeting agenda for orthotics & prosthetics has been released on the CMS website. The meeting date is June 7, 2011.
According to the agenda, the meeting intends to “provide an opportunity for the general public to provide additional input related to requests to modify the HCPCS code set.”
The agenda includes the discussion of 10 items affecting both upper and lower limb devices. Final decisions on the issues discussed at the public meeting should be available in November.
