The scientific congress committee of the ORTHOPÄDIE + REHA-TECHNIK 2012 invites technicians, engineers, therapists and doctors to submit their contributions to the World Congress.
The focal subject next year will be orthotics — an important issue for the future of the trade. Further subject fields are prosthetics, orthopedic footwear technology, adjusted technologies/developing countries, material research as well as free subjects such as compression therapy and rehabilitation. German or English abstracts can be submitted online by Sept. 30, 2011
The particular appeal of the ORTHOPÄDIE + REHA-TECHNIK in Leipzig, Germany, stems from the successful combination of trade show and congress. The high quality of the congress program is based on the close cooperation of engineers and doctors while also involving orthopedic workshops, national and international trade associations, medical facilities and research institutes.
A 4-day program of advanced training on the highest possible level is also ensured in 2012. Besides the congress program, expert forums dealing with subjects from the trade and business, exhibitor workshops and new products and research findings are presented at the exhibition’s innovation forum.
At the World Congress, renowned experts from all over the world speak about their respective area of expertise. The Congress begins on May 15, 2012 with the kick-off-event including professional opinion statements and a keynote-speech by Klaus-Jürgen Lotz, vice president of the German Association of Orthopaedic Technology.
Besides the 25 symposia, 10 blocks of free speeches are offered for which subjects and speakers can be nominated by September 30 based on the abstracts.
