Otto Bock HealthCare announced the new hire of John Spillar as a territory sales representative for technical orthopedics. In his new position, Spillar is responsible for the South Texas area.
“John’s focus is on providing exceptional customer service,” Walter Governor, national director of sales for technical orthopedics, stated in a press release. “Promoting and supporting the business successes of the prosthetic and orthotic clinicians in his territory are his top priorities, and he is able to consistently achieve those objectives by anticipating customer needs and forming strong partnerships.”
Spillar has a bachelor’s of business administration for marketing and management and a master of business administration from Texas State University. He joins Otto Bock with sales experience in the food and beverage industry and the health care/orthopedic industry, most recently holding the position of field marketing manager for Tornier Orthopedics-Gulf Coast Surgical.
“I’m very excited to be a member of the industry leading Otto Bock team, and I especially look forward to the opportunity to help people regain their independence and mobility,” Spillar stated.
